Overview

The Horcher Diana^TM lift can be used in a variety of patient care areas whether it be in the home or in a hospital environment.   The Diana^TM offers excellent support for daily patient lifting and transfers.   With Diana^TM's four, double wheel, ball bearing castors, maneuvering and transferring is simple.   Parking brakes are located on the rear wheels for added safety.

There are three different models that vary in size in the Diana^TM family; the Diana^TM Comfort, Compact and Mini.   All are available in either an E (electric) or H (hydraulic) models.

The Diana™ Lift

Another feature of the Diana^TM is that the base legs can be spread manually for added stability as well as straddling wheelchairs, commodes and other seats. This leg spreading feature also provides added stability while transferring a user from one location to another.

The smoothness of Diana^TM's lifting, lowering and transfer action gives the patient a safe and secure feeling.   Commode use is made simple using the Barrier Free Lifts^® open bottom Toileting or Universal sling.  The open bottom design of these slings makes it possible for the patient to use the toilet without having to remove the sling.   These slings are also designed so the user does not have to get up or be lifted while putting the sling on.  We have separate pages describing slings and accessories.
