Floor (Rolling) Model Lifts Features/Benefits

Floor model lifts roll on casters and are designed to perform different functions.  Horcher floor model lifts have many features to assist the caregiver and provide comfort to the patient.

Floor Model Lift Benefits:

bulletHorcher lifts use industrial casters to facilitate rolling on uneven surfaces.
bulletFloor model lifts are available for special lifting applications.  For example, the Horcher Raisa lift is a sit-to-stand lift.  The Horcher Diana™ Comfort lift features a swiveling mast so the lift can parallel park and anchor next to a tub or bed.
bulletThe Horcher floor model lifts have a range of features such as superior lifting height,  lift leg spreading, multiple models to handle different patient weights and the motorized patient positioner for the Lexa lift.

Ceiling Lifts Features/Benefits

Ceiling lifts run on "tracks" installed in the ceiling of your home/facility.  They are the most versatile, convenient and least obtrusive types of lifts.  Within the ceiling lift class of lift, there are installed lifts and portable lifts.  Ceiling lifts are easy to use, safe and the least cumbersome to use of all lift types.

Ceiling Lift Benefits:

bulletPatient moves freely on the ceiling lift track with little, if any, exertion.  Powered movement on the track is available.
bulletCeiling Lifts do not take up floor space and do not require turning space.  No need to move furniture.   Can pass through narrow passage ways and around corners.
bulletCeiling lifts are out of the way, when not in use.  When you're not using your ceiling lift, the lift can be powered to an out of the way location.  Only the unobstrusive track is then visible to your guests.
bulletCeiling lifts do not have "legs" so they can go over things a rolling lift could not, such as tubs, beds without under-bed space, etc.
bulletCeiling Lifts can fit in small bathrooms, bedrooms, etc. and can be installed over pools or hot tubs.
bulletLift can be performed by one caregiver, without caregiver injury/strain.
bulletMore patient moves can be accomplished due to ease of lifting.
bulletCreative track configurations can give the patient access to any part of their home or a facility.
bulletPortable ceiling lift can be used in multiple locations.
