Using a Raisa™ Lift
For lift use, the
user places his or her feet on the adjustable stepping board and his or her
knees against the kneepads. By placing the sling under the arms and around
the back, the user can gently be lifted to a standing position. The secure
feeling the user gets while being lifted is maintained as the patient can be
transported from room to room. For patients and those assisting them, the
process is safe and effortless.
The legs on the base of the RaisaTM lift can be
widened to straddle wheelchairs, toilets or other seats as well as increase
stability of the lift for safer and easier use. By returning the
base legs to the closed position, the RaisaTM Lift can pass
through most narrow doorways allowing patients to be moved from room to
room.
