Overview

Horcher Sling System fulfills a wide range of functional demands.   Our slings provide individuals and their care givers with great comfort and security during lifting procedures.    The standard slings are amazingly easy to apply and fully adjustable to meet your needs.   Custom slings are also available.

One of the most important features of our slings is their open bottom.   The adjustable opening allows the sling to be put on while the person being lifted remains seated.   While still providing maximum support and comfort, the sling can be put on without having to pick up the patient.   The sling isn't stuck under the patient's bottom.

Many slings are available in different fabrics.  Two example fabrics are mesh for quick drying after bathing and polster for easily sliding over clothing.   Slings are available in multiple sizes.  We'll help you identify the fabric and size you need.

Universal Sling - This opened bottom sling can be put on while an individual is seated without having to do any lifting.  There are many attachment options available that enable an individual to be positioned from reclining to sitting.  The Universal Sling is available in sizes from extra small to extra large.

Universal Head Support Sling - The universal head support sling is another open bottom sling with all of the advantages of the Universal sling, plus Head Support for those who need it.

Two Piece Quick Sling - The least restrictive sling available, for quick application and easy access for unfastening clothes. One strap fits around the back and under the arms, with the second strap passing under both legs

Three Piece Quick Sling - This sling is also very quick and easy to get on and off.  The Three Piece Quick Sling provides one strap for around the back and under the arms and a leg strap for each leg.

With more ability to hold the legs open than the Two Piece, The Three Piece Quick Sling works better for using the toilet, catheterization and perineal care.

The Stretcher Sling - is for use with the UniLift Stretcher Lift for those individuals who must be lifted and who must stay in a lying down position.

The "Patron" Sling - A white powder coated, tubular metal sling which wraps around the torso. Foam padded supports have the unique ability to fit a variety of body sizes.   The Patron Sling has a sizing feature to prevent the arms of the sling from squeezing the patient and inhibit breathing.

Foam padded underarm support, longer and narrower leg straps and a higher cut in the back, all work together to enable the care giver to easily remove and reapply clothing during toileting procedures.

The Amputee Sling - Specially designed for individuals whose condition prevents them from being lifted by an open bottom sling

The Lexa Sling - The Lexa Sling is another open bottom sling with head support. The Lexa design utilizes four lifting straps and tucks in the bottom and top portion of the sling create a comfortable cradling effect.

Toileting Sling - Especially designed for toileting use, this sling has a head and back support attached to two leg straps and trouser access exposing the rear-end for easy commode use. This sling has been designed so one can easily put on and take off the sling while the patient is in a sitting or reclined position
We also offer custom made slings in the rare event that our standard slings are not adequate for the user.
