swimming pools, and in RV's and motor homes!
Special Track Layouts
No matter what
your need -- we have a Barrier Free Lift solution!
 |
We can customize
the track to get you where you need to go with straight track of varying
lengths and curved track of varying angles.
|
 |
If you need to go
anywhere in a room space, we can install a room-covering Transversal system.
|
 |
If you need to
access multiple directions or small/constricted areas, we have Carousels and
Track switches.
|
 |
We're able to
suspend the track when there are vaulted or cathedral ceilings.
|
 |
If you need
room-to-room usage and do not want to alter your doorway, we have a
room-to-room system, that allows a track transfer at the doorway.
We'll also help you look at alternatives such as bath/toilet chairs, if the
bathroom is the second room you need to access.

Aside from straight track, Barrier Free
Lifts offers many different types of curved track. This adds versatility
to configuration capabilities. The three curves to the right are most
commonly used.
With many
different shapes of tracks available, we are able to offer multiple
solutions for each client. The client then is able to decide which
solution would be best. |

For use with a multiple track system,
the track switch uses the same concept as a railroad track switch.
With the simple push of a button, a section of track is able to toggle
back and forth, thus making a connection to another track leading to
another destination. This feature enables a user to achieve
greater mobility by providing access to more then one track and more
then one destination within the home or facility. |

For a more complicated, multi-track
configurations, a carousel enables the user to pick which way he or she
wants to go when encountering a 4-way intersection of track.
The carousel is inserted at the 4-way intersection and contains a small
piece of track that rotates with the push of a button in order to make a
connection between 2 of the 4 tracks. For maneuvering around
an involved tracking system, a carousel is the safest and best option.
